Fredrick T.J. ‘Fred’ Llewellyn died peacefully on Wednesday, May 10 after years of illness, his obituary said.
His greatest joys in life were his wife, Nicole 'Nikki' Llewellyn, and his beloved daughter, Emma Llewellyn.
"They truly don't make them like him anymore," Nikki told Daily Voice. "He touched so many lives and helped so many people and he didn't even realize how loved he was."
Fred owned and operated his own business, "Fred's Landscaping" in Dracut for 15 years, tending to lawns and greenery at homes and businesses across Lowell, Dracut, and Pelham.
Fred, who was diagnosed with lung cancer, became too sick to continue his business and worked at Market Basket Warehouse since 2016, where he fostered friendships with many of his coworkers.
Born in East Boston, Fred was raised in Dracut and attended the Campbell School and Greater Lowell Technical High School.
"He was a very hard-working man," Nikki told Daily Voice. "He loved riding in the woods and spending time with his dog, Trixie, and his daughter Emma."
Trucks were Fred's prized hobby.
"He loved his Ford diesel and his other Ford truck," Nikki said.
He enjoyed improving his truck and spent time traveling with his wife and friends to attend truck shows across the east coast.
He loved to dote on his family and friends, and was always there to help those in need of a helping hand.
"Freddy will be missed tremendously," said a Facebook comment on a post announcing Fred's death. "He was one of the few that was always there when needed."
"He was just Fred and will forever be missed," Nikki said."
His wife and daughter are accepting donations, which can be made directly to Nikki on Venmo or Cash App @NikkiEmma619.
